The answer may surprise you. The secret to your success is not your prayer life. It’s not your Bible study time. It’s not the spiritual concepts you master. 

What will transform your life the most is what you do with your soul. Your soul drives how much you accomplish in life. It determines how spiritually mature you become. It will sets the boundaries on every aspect of your life—from how deep you’ll take your relationships to how much true power and beauty you’ll wield. 

The people who learn how to govern their soul will shape the direction of the world in the coming years. Life will go for them the way they want it to go. Nothing will be impossible for them.

As background, we want to share with you our understanding of what your soul is and how it was formed.

We believe you existed as a spirit being with Yahweh before your body was formed (Ecc. 12:7). Hebrews explains that Yahweh prepared a body for Christ so he could accomplish all that was written down about what he would do when he came to earth (Heb. 10:5-7). 

Whether or not you’re consciously aware of it, Yahweh did the same for you. Outside of time, you and Yahweh decided what you would do when you came to earth. After carefully writing the plan on your heart, Yahweh prepared a body for you. At the right moment, you came from Yahweh’s presence into your body to fulfill what was written about you. 

The first thing you did when you got to your mother’s womb was breath onto the body that was being formed for you. When your breath hit your body, your soul was formed. You created your soul to help you fulfill all you desire to accomplish within creation. 

Your soul hears the echo of its divine purpose. It seeks it out. But it also became tethered to trauma and corruption that sat in the record of your body’s DNA. From the beginning of its existence, your soul has felt a wrestle between its heavenly purpose and the ties to corruption that sit inside it. 

The more you untie your soul from the things pulling it towards death, the more freedom, life, and wholeness you experience. The more life will go the way you want it to go. And the more of your destiny you will fulfill.
